Welcome to Foodchain!

We are a fully New Zealand owned and operated food distribution company supplying the hospitality industry with high quality meat, poultry, seafood and Mediterranean deli products and dry goods.

Our principal offices and distribution centre are centrally located in Avondale, Auckland supplying the greater Auckland region.  Our Hamilton team services the Waikato, Coromandel, Rotorua, Bay of Plenty and Taupo.

We have a dedicated butchery team located at our Avondale site which offers our customers in all areas the opportunity to order specific cuts and pack sizes, & chef designed special products for daily delivery.

Orders can be placed either online, by answerphone, by email or by speaking personally to our helpful customer service department.

Our quick and efficient packing system includes a full barcode driven scanning system, ensuring the products you order are the ones you get.  Our night shift picking crew enables us to deliver daily from 6am and once on a Saturday. Goods are delivered by our own fleet of refrigerated trucks and this completes a reliable, efficient service. 

Foodchain employs over 75 staff across the 2 locations, all of which have completed a Food Handling Safety Programme which is part of our HACCP plan. All staff are committed to customer service, great food and to be part of an enthusiastic team.
